Hello! I am a Boston native and worked in corporate America before semi-retiring to pursue my life long passion, scuba diving. After working for a wealth management firm in Massachusetts for many years, I decided to transform my hobby into a career.

My family are best described as water people. I grew up on a lake, and I spent most of my childhood water skiing and boating. In my young adult years, my curiosity to explore beneath the surface and under the sea grew deeper. I became a certified diver in the 90s, and I’ve been hooked ever since! After diving recreationally for more than three decades, I decided to turn my passion into a profession.

In 2017, I traveled to Roatán, Honduras to obtain a scuba diving instructor’s certification. I’ve dove in more than 10 different countries and the list continues to grow! The pandemic sparked a movement for an increased interest in outdoor recreation and a better work-life balance. In 2020, I decided to share my love of scuba diving with those who are looking to relax and explore the beauty of our planet underwater. Salty Dog Diving located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has made my dream of owning a business a reality.

When I am not in the ocean, you can find me riding a Harley-Davidson up and down the A1A coastline.

Walter, the official mascot of Salty Dog Diving

Walter is an active, water-loving old golden retriever mix.

When Walter isn’t working at Salty Dog Diving, you can find him riding the waves, retrieving a tennis ball on the beach, or trying to catch a lizard.
